About the Shack

Elazar Hoch

Artist, founder, and builder.

The Little Blue Shack is my independent software studio—a home for ideas taking shape through care, curiosity, and creative practice.

My background is in painting, photography, and music. Across those different forms, I keep returning to how we experience the world and find connection with one another. That curiosity now carries into the software I’m building.

On the workbench today is an app exploring connection through music: an invitation to discover a shared feeling, listen together, or begin a conversation. It’s being shaped around small, meaningful moments of connection—without popularity metrics and the usual pressure to perform.

It’s taking shape through prototyping and conversations with the people who might use it.

The Shack gives that work a home—and leaves room for what comes next.
